Project Description:

The applicant proposes to replace an existing timber bulkhead with a new steel bulkhead, demolish two timber piers and construct a new restaurant including a green roof with solar panels within NYSDEC regulated tidal wetlands adjacent area. A planted buffer area will be established between the wetland and the developed area including a bio retention rain garden and a public access walkway. The project site is located at 435 Hunter Avenue, City Island.
