Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The Incorporated Village of Port Jefferson Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 148 Crystal Brook Hollow Road, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the removal of 1 tree without the necessary Village approvals and proposed replanting with native and non native grasses to prevent slope from eroding. The project is located at 148 Crystal Brook Hollow Road in the Village of Port Jefferson, Town of Brookhaven, New York.

Conditioned Negative Declaration

Nassau County - The Planning Board of the Village of Sea Cliff, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Subdivision of 404 Littleworth Lane, will not have a significant adverse environmental impact provided specific conditions are met. There will be a 30 day public comment period commencing with the date of this notice.

The action involves a proposal by the applicants to subdivide property currently used as a two-family dwelling. The applicants propose to create four new tax lots. Three of the tax lots will contain residences, including one that will contain the existing two-family dwelling. The fourth lot will contain a private roadway providing access to the two new residences. The project is located at 404 Littleworth Lane in the Village of Sea Cliff, New York.

The conditions are:

Applicants shall retain an archaeologist during any excavation or construction of improvements on the parcel identified in the Project plans as Parcel C and the private roadway identified therein as Finch Way (Excavation Area). The archaeologist will be required to monitor the construction and excavation as provided in the Conditioned Negative Declaration. Applicants shall use methods of excavation and construction that are sensitive to the possibility of any human remains. During excavation and construction of improvements on the Project site if any human remains are discovered, applicants shall be required to implement protocols set forth in the Conditioned Negative Declaration.
