Erie County - The Erie County Department of Environment and Planning, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Transfer of Parkland to the Town of Newstead will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal by Erie County, acting through the Erie County Department of Environment and Planning, to transfer a section of Akron Falls Park, in the Town of Newstead, Erie County, to the Town of Newstead. The transfer includes approximately 135 ± acres currently used for public recreation, including baseball diamonds, soccer fields, and a shelter. The transfer of the property will not change the availability of these recreational facilities for County residents and the park will remain functional in its current manner. This transfer will not result in any proposed development or construction. The project is located on Skyline Drive in the Village of Akron, Town of Newstead, New York.

Niagara County - The Town of Lewiston, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Lewiston Senior Center and Recreation Facility will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a 100 to 150 square foot community recreation facility and senior center on 10 ± acres of land on the corner of Creek Road and Darryl Johnson Way in the Town of Lewiston, New York. The project will include construction of appurtenant utilities, parking and infrastructure. The project site is currently owned by the Lewiston - Porter Central School District and will be sub-divided upon the sale of the Land.
