Project Description: The applicants are seeking approval for a nine lot subdivision involving wetlands within 150 feet of the edge of the right-of-way of New York State Route 9N, a designated Highway Critical Environmental Area (CEA) involving construction of one new single family dwelling with on-site water supply and on-site wastewater treatment systems on each lot. Access to the lots will utilize one common drive to serve four lots, two common drives, each serving two lots, and one driveway to serve one lot.

Saratoga County - The Town Board of the Town of Malta, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed GLOBALFOUNDRIES U.S. Inc FAB 8.2 may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the construction and operation of the FAB 8.2 facility within Development Area I at the Luther Forest Technology Campus (LFTC) in the Towns of Malta and Stillwater. GLOBALFOUNDRIES is requesting that certain amendments be made to the Proposed Development District (PDD) legislation in the Town of Malta in order to accommodate company and design-specific requirements and may, at some point in the future, seek site plan approval for the FAil 8.2 facility. The project is located in portions of the Towns of Malta and Stillwater, New York.
