Proposed/Revised Amendments to Wetland Maps
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Article 24 (Freshwater Wetlands Act) of the NYS ECL and 6 NYCRR Part 664 that New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) proposes to amend Columbia County Freshwater Wetland Maps 5 and 6 of 21 and Rensselaer County Freshwater Wetlands Maps 21 and 22 of 22 to delete Wetland CA-1 and to withdraw the proposed addition to Wetland CA-1 previously announced on November 30, 2011 and December 1 and 2, 2011. The revised proposal resulted from field work confirming the actual extent of wetland on the ground. Maps showing the proposed revisions are available at the Columbia County and Town of New Lebanon clerk's offices, the Rensselaer County and Town of Stephentown clerk's offices, as well as at the NYS DEC - Region 4 Office, Schenectady, NY. Greene County - The Village of Athens Board of Trustees, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Enactment of Zoning Law will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the proposed enactment of the Zoning Law. The project is located through out the Village of Athens, New York.
