The Department has made a tentative determination to approve this application for a new SPDES permit for the subsurface discharge of up to 20,330 gallons per day (GPD) of sanitary wastewater. The applicant proposes to upgrade one existing outfall, consolidate six (6) additional outfalls, and construct a new sewage disposal system for the entire site. The project site is on the north side of Ulster Heights Rd, 500' west of the intersection with Dowe Road. A draft SPDES permit has been prepared and can be made available for review at the DEC Region 3 Office by contacting the DEC staff listed below.

The proposed project would convert WVO and VVO into home heating oil and No. 5 diesel oil. It is estimated that the facility would process approximately 2,016,000 gallons per year of WVO and VVO. All processing operations will be conducted within the existing structure. No additional structures are proposed as part of this application.
