Notice of Adoption
Pursuant to Environmental Conservation Law, sections 1-0101(3)(b), 3-0301(1)(b), 3-0301(2)(m), 9-0105(1) and 9-0105(3), the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) hereby gives notice of the following:
Adoption of a new section 190.10(f) for the Henderson Shores Unique Area. This will protect natural resources and public safety.

Jefferson County - The Joint Town of Clayton / Village of Clayton Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Clayton Harbor Hotel, LLC - Proposed Destination Hotel will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction and operation of a full service destination hotel on a portion of the former Frink America site, to include a new 4 story, 105 room hotel with approximately 90,000 square feet and associated parking and site development. The Project will include a future Phase II residential development of approximately 10-15 townhouse style units. In conjunction with the Project, the local municipality proposes the development of a transient docking facility to include a wave attenuator, approximately 50 docks, and a boater services building of approximately 1,000 - 1,500 square feet. The project is located on the corner of Webb Street and Riverside Drive in the Village of Clayton, Town of Clayton, New York.
