Project Description:

This action was previously published in April of 2012, indicating dredge spoil to be disposed of on-site. Dredge spoil disposal is now planned for Connecticut state open waters at the Western Long Island Sound Disposal Site. The applicant proposes to dredge around the yacht club service dock, main dock and travel lift approach to restore historical water depths. The total amount of area proposed to be dredged is 43,140 square feet resulting in 3,994 cubic yards of dredged material. The proposed dredging is to take place at the Seawanhaka Corinthian Yacht Club on Center Island, south of Seawanhaka Road on Oyster Bay Harbor, Town of Oyster Bay, Nassau County.
