Project Description:

A current permit authorizes a sanitary waste discharge from a septic tank/sand filter system. This permit modification is to include stormwater discharges and a discharge from a proposed car wash/rental facility. The DEC proposes eight outfall sampling locations in this permit which will be representative and capture runoff from the entire site.The permittee is required to implement a BMP plan that prevents, or minimizes the potential for the release of significant amounts of hazardous pollutants to state waters. The BMP plan requires annual review by the permittee.

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

A cultural resources survey has been completed. Based on information provided in the survey report, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) has determined that the proposed activity will have no impact on registered or eligible archaeological sites or historic structures. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
