Applicant proposes to operate a temporary dewatering system to facilitate the construction of a new multi-story residential building at 50 Oceana Drive in Brooklyn with a maximum withdrawal of 2,880,000 gallons per day. Pumped groundwater is to be directed to an existing 12" private storm sewer located on-site which connects to an existing 60" NYCDEP storm sewer on Brighton Beach Blvd which discharges to Sheepshead Bay via NYCDEP Outfall.

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination:
Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was performed.
SEQR Lead Agency: NYC Dept of City Planning
State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
Cultural resource lists and map have been checked. No registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified at the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
This project is located in a Coastal Management area and is subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
