Project Description:

Install new 189', 18" higher navy batter piled corrugated shoreline 6500 bulkhead 13" seaward of damaged 189' smooth surface bulkhead. Remove damaged 30' return and install in same location 30' navy style shoreline 6500, 18" higher. In addition, place 200 cubic yards of clean upland fill as back fill. Approximately 301 sq.ft. of littoral zone would be required to be filled to complete this project.

Project Description:

The applicant proposes to remove/replace & raise 18 inches, 436 linear feet of bulkhead. Remove/replace 336 linear feet of 4' wide boardwalk. Dredge an existing boatslip to 4' below mean low water and remove the resultant 125 cubic yards of dredge material to an approved upland location. Place 240 linear feet of rock rip-rap along the unbulkheaded section of shoreline. The rip-rap is proposed between mean low water and mean high water. The project is located at 12 Lindner Court, Brookhaven Hamlet, NY, on Shelldrake Canal (Beaverdam Creek), S/S of Lindner Court, 525' E/O Bellhaven Road, Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County, SCTM # 0200-980-1-18,19 & 20.
