Negative Declaration

Dutchess County - The City of Beacon City Council, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Creation of a Senior Affordable Housing Overlay Zoning District will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the Creation of a Senior Affordable Housing Overlay zoning district and application of the district to a portion of the St. Francis Hospital, and the proposed adaptive reuse of the St. Francis Hospital building as a Senior Affordable Housing project known as Highland Meadows. The project is located in the City of Beacon, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft SEIS and Public Hearing

Westchester County - The Village of Ossining Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Hidden Cove. A public hearing on the Draft SEIS will be held on January 29, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ossining Operations Center, 101 Route 9-A, Ossining, NY 10562. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until February 26, 2013. The Draft SEIS is available from the Village of Ossining Department of Planning, 101 Route 9-A, Ossining, NY 10562 and on line at: www.villageofossining.org.

The action involves as proposal by the Applicant is for 137 residential units on the lower portion of the site with the potential for future development on the plateau. The project is located at 36 Water Street in the Village of Ossining, New York.
