Monroe County - The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Gene Polisseni Center and Campus Improvements Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves DASNY's authorization of the issuance of tax-exempt bonds on behalf of Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) to finance the construction of a new ice rink, expansion, renovation, and upgrade of existing academic facilities, upgrade of the existing on-campus electrical substation, and the acquisition of the existing University Commons II student housing units and the refunding of a portion of the outstanding DASNY's RIT Series 2002B and 2008A Revenue Bonds pursuant to DASNY's Independent Colleges and Universities Program. The project is located at the RIT Campus, 5 Lomb Memorial Drive in Rochester, Town of Henrietta, New York.

Monroe County - The City of Rochester Director of Planning and Zoning, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Maye Development may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the demolition of a former church and an adjacent two family dwelling and replace them with a one story, 13,870 square foot retail building with surface parking lot. The project is located at 660-668 West Main Street in the City of Rochester, New York.

Positive Declaration and Public Comment Period
Chemung County - Chemung County, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Chemung County Solid Waste Management Optional Scoping may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. Written comments on the draft scope will be accepted until January 22, 2013. The action involves the designation of the Chemung County Legislature as Lead Agency, accepting a revised Environmental Assessment Form, confirming a Positive Declaration, withdrawing the Final Scope accepted in 2006, accepting a revised Draft Scope for the Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement, establishing scoping for the Draft SEIS for projects described in the Operation, Management and Lease Agreement among Chemung County, New England Waste Services of N.Y., Inc. and Casella Waste Systems, Inc. pursuant to the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act. The project is located at the Chemung County Landfill, County Route 60 in Chemung County, New York.
