Amendment to the Watson's East Triangle Wild Forest Unit Management Plan

Project Location: The Wild Forest is located in the Towns of Croghan, Diana, and Watson in Lewis County and the Town of Webb in Herkimer County.
Project Description: This notice is to acknowledge that the Commissioner of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation approved and signed the Watson's East Triangle Wild Forest Unit Management Amendment on November 14, 2012.

Negative Declaration
Jefferson County - The Town Board of the Town of Watertown, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local Law No. 2 of the Year 2012 of the Town of Watertown will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves an amendment to Zoning Law to add definitions and regulations for fences and to amend the parking, lighting and off-street loading regulations. The project is located throughout the Town of Watertown, New York.

Jefferson County - The Village of Antwerp, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Municipal Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the improvements or replacement of the influent screening system, RBCs, secondary clarifier, generator, process controls, pH monitoring, lighting and miscellaneous equipment, as well as new standby power and tertiary treatment process for phosphorous and total suspended solids removal. Installation of new equipment includes tertiary filter systems, liquid sodium hypochlorite disinfection system and aluminum sulfite chemical feed system. The tertiary filter and new chemical systems will be housed in a new Filter/Chemical Building. The project is located on County Route 194 in the Village of Antwerp, New York.
