The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has added a link to a translation service developed by Microsoft Inc., entitled Bing Translator, as a convenience to visitors to the DEC website who speak languages other than English.

Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - Suffolk County, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Sewer District #3 - Southwest Bergen Point Wastewater Treatment Plant Outfall Replacement Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the replacement of a deteriorated section of the existing Bergen Point Wastewater Treatment Plant outfall pipe with a newly constructed lined tunnel to be installed below the bottom of Great South Bay. The project is located at the Bergen Point Wastewater Treatment Plant 600 Bergen Avenue, West Babylon, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Nassau County - The Upper Brookville Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Oaks at Mill River. The action involves the preliminary approval to subdivide a 97.16 acre parcel in the Village designated within the Village's OP-1 (5 Acre) Zoning District. The project is located at 45 and 57 Mill River Road in Upper Brookville, Town of Oyster Bay, New York.
