Project Description:
Applicant proposes to construct 70 linear feet of low profile bulkhead above and below mean high water with one 24' return and one 16' return. Sixteen cubic yards of clean fill is to be placed landward of bulkhead and area is to be planted with Spartina alterniflora. Applicant additionally proposes placement of (2) 16 inch diameter coir logs around perimeter of Fox Island along erosion line, backfilling with 60 cubic yards of clean fill, and revegetating with Cape American Beach Grass. Construction of a new 4' x 57.3' catwalk is also proposed. Project is located in Spring Pond, East Marion.
