Project Description:

Applicant proposes to create a new 150' X 60' X 6' pond in the Adjacent Area of FWW B-11 to expand the wetland and increase the volume of water for golf course irrigation. A track excavator will be used and excavated material will be used for creating the pond and to fill low spots in the area.

In addition, applicant will reconstruct the existing earthen dam within the wetland by removing the vegetation and increasing the width to approximately 8 feet. Clay material from the immediate area will be used. The overall size of the dam will be 30'L X 8'W X 6'H.

The applicant proposes to create a hole 8' X 8' X 6' in the Adjacent Area and install a 5' diameter concrete casing to pump water up to the pond on hole #17.

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination:

Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed.

SEQR Lead Agency: None Designated

State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:

Cultural resource lists and map have been checked. No registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified at the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.

Coastal Management:

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

Opportunity for Public Comment:

Comments on this project must be submitted in writing to the Contact Person no later than Nov 29, 2012.
