Project Description:
Stockbridge Stone Products, LLC proposes to mine consolidated limestone from a 29.78 acre life of mine facility on a 36.24 acre parcel owned by this applicant and located north of Quarry Road off NYS Route 46 south east of the Village of Munnsville. Noise, dust and stormwater runoff will be controlled and no significant adverse impacts are expected. The application and plans are available for review in the Cortland Office.

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination:
Project is a Type I action and will not have a significant effect on the environment. A coordinated review with other agencies was performed and a Negative Declaration is on file.
SEQR Lead Agency: NYS Department of Environmental Conservation
State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
A Structural-Archaeological Assessment Form has been completed. The proposed activity will not impact on registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures.
Coastal Management:
This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
Opportunity for Public Comment:

Applicant proposes to modify existing 13.5 acre life-of-mine facility located at 44 Quarry Road, Town of Dryden, County of Tompkins; by adding temporary on-site crushing with a portable crusher. Processing will occur as weather permits, frequency to be once every 1 to 2 years, for short periods of time lasting 3 to 4 weeks at a time.
