State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
Cultural resource lists and map have been checked. No registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified at the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
Coastal Management:
This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

Project Description:
The application proposes the seasonal installation of a 200' L, 24-slip floating dock system in Schroon Lake, a Recreation River, for an existing condominium complex. The docking facility will be L-shaped, with an 86' return, supported by twenty-two 2" galvanized pipes. Small solar-powered lights will be installed at the docks end for navigation safety. This docking facility replaces an existing docking facility located within the outlet of Horseshoe Pond Brook which will be no longer used. The proposed dock will be placed approx. 20' to the south of an existing 94'L day dock which will be removed. The project is also under review by the Adirondack Park Agency (#2012-133), and NYS Office of General Services.
