Project Description:

Applicant proposes the installation of a new irrigation system and a new 10" diameter irrigation well to a depth of 195' and pumping capacity of 900gpm. The water will be used to irrigate approximately 71 acres of turf, trees and vegetation. The applicant's estimated yearly water use at the project site is estimated to be 84.24 million gallons. The project is located in the Bayard Cutting Arboretum State Park, Great River, Town of Islip, Suffolk County.

Project Description:

Strong's Marina proposes to place fill in the tidal wetland and dredge as part of an existing marina project to install high and low bulkheading. The area of partially filled wetland landward of the low sill bulkheading will be planted to create a vegetated marsh. Other work includes installation of a boat launch and floats to be used for servicing customer vessels and relocating an existing shed and boat racks. The project is located west of Kreh Road at 2402 Camp Mineola Road Extension in Mattituck, Town of Southold, Suffolk County, SCTM #'s 1000-122-9-6.2 and 1000-122-4-44.2.
