Suffolk County - The Village of Port Jefferson Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 15 Davids Way will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves an application for the removal of existing timber retaining walls in addition to the construction of new walls, totaling approximately 513 feet of modular block walls in several locations ranging in height from one foot to 14 feet. The project also involves grading and the installation of drainage. In addition, the removal of 17 trees regulated by the Village of Port Jefferson is proposed along with the removal of eight smaller unregulated trees. In accordance with the Code of the Incorporated Village of Port Jefferson, Section 129.2(14), the action is a Type I action as it involves the construction of retaining walls in excess of 6 feet in height. The project is located at 15 David's Way in the Village of Port Jefferson, New York.

Suffolk County - The Town of Riverhead Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Riverhead Sewer District Treatment Plant Total Maximum Daily Limit (TMDL) Upgrade will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a $17.9 million upgrade of the Riverhead Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility to meet increased standards of nitrogen removal under the facility's revised State Pollution Discharge Elimination System discharge permit. The permit was altered in compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency TMDL strictures on nitrogen discharged into Peconic Bay, developed under the federal Peconic Estuary Program Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan and for water quality improvement of impaired waters under Section 303(d) of the Clean Water Act. The Town is seeking a low interest, long term loan from the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation towards the project. The project is located on the north end of River Avenue, approximately 1,200 feet north of Riverside Drive, in the Hamlet and Township of Riverhead, New York.

Suffolk County - The Town of Southampton Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Southampton Country Day Camp may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the change of use from a pre-existing, non-conforming tennis camp use to a non-conforming day camp use on a residentially zone parcel and the demolition/reconstruction/relocation of the existing structures and new structures and the addition of accessory pools and sport court/playgrounds. The project is located on a 17.28 acre parcel which fronts on Little Fresh Pond located in the R-20 Zoning District at 665 Majors Path in North Sea, Town of Southampton, New York.

Suffolk County - The Incorporated Village of East Hampton Zoning Board of Appeals, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Maidstone Club Irrigation Improvements may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves a proposal by the Maidstone Club to modernize and expand the existing irrigation system in order to improve irrigation capability to service portions of its golf courses. The construction consists of the addition or replacement of subsurface irrigation piping (PVC water mains, sprinkler heads and laterals) and the installation of a well, an irrigation pond and a pump house/storage shed. The project is located 50 Old Beach Lane in the Incorporated Village of East Hampton, New York.
