Negative Declaration
Chautauqua County - The Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Sunset Bay Hotel Development will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The Chautauqua County Industrial Development Agency is considering financial incentives for a project consisting of the following: the construction of one or more buildings including a three story, approximately 70 room hotel, a 10,000 - 20,000 square foot water park, a shopping plaza and two restaurants for use by the applicant as a tourism destination resort including water park recreation, shopping, dining and related facilities located on approximately 11.6 acres of land. The project is located on Routes 5 and 20 in the Town of Hanover, New York.
