Project Description:

The applicant in cooperation with NYS Department of Environmental Conservation proposes to develop a public fishing access and canoe launch along the Susquehanna River and within a federal wetland. This proposal includes a foot trail to the river, 4 feet wide by 72 feet long, consisting of cleared vegetation and crushed stone, two parking lots upland of the flood plain, approximately .007 acres of federal wetland will be impacted to create the trail and is located along the northern and southern side of County Highway 11C at the Compton Bridge crossing of the Susquehanna River, in the town of Hartwick, Otsego County.

Filed application documents, and Department draft permits where applicable, are available for inspection during normal business hours at the address of the contact person. To ensure timely service at the time of inspection, it is recommended that an appointment be made with the contact person.
