The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has added a link to a translation service developed by Microsoft Inc., entitled Bing Translator, as a convenience to visitors to the DEC website who speak languages other than English.

Negative Declaration

Erie County - The Town of Amherst Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed University Place Mixed-Use Development will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the development of a 6-story, 84,306 ± square foot hotel and two 4 story mixed-use buildings (9,202 ± square feet and 12,675 ± square feet) to include first floor retail/restaurant uses and upper floor apartments (total of 42 apartments). The total size of the project is 106,183 ± square feet. The petitioner is Bevilacqua Development, L.P., 9332 Transit Road, Suite B, East Amherst, NY 14051.

The project is located at 1280 Sweet Home Road and 3875, 3885, 3895, 3905 and 3925 Rensch Road, on the west side of Sweet Home Road, approximately 900 feet south of the Sweet Home/Rensch Road intersection, and has frontage on both Sweet Home Road and Rensch Road in the Town of Amherst, New York.
