Project Title: Construction of Snowmobile Trail from Limekiln Lake-Cedar River Road to Seventh-Eighth Lake Snowmobile Trail.
Location: Moose River Plains Wild Forest, Town of Inlet, New York.
Project Description: Construction of approximately 5.1 miles of snowmobile trail from Limekiln Lake-Cedar River Road to Seventh-Eighth Lake Snowmobile Trail. This project was approved (Alternative 11, p. 119) in the Moose River Plains Wild Forest UMP/GEIS January 2011. This project will be constructed in accordance with NYS DEC's Management Guidance on "Snowmobile Trail Siting, Construction and Maintenance on Forest Preserve Lands in the Adirondack Park" and includes removal of 929 trees.
Any tree cutting will be in compliance with Lands and Forest Policy # 91-2 on Cutting, Removal or Destruction of Trees and Other Vegetation on Forest Preserve lands.

Project Description: The action involves a three lot subdivision creating a 3.2 ± acre, a 211 ± acre and a 0.7 ± acre lot. A single family dwelling will be constructed on the 0.7 ± acre lot and a fire station may be constructed on the 3.2 ± acre lot in the future. This permit will solely authorize the subdivision and construction of the single family dwelling. The review of the construction of the fire station will be the subject of a future Adirondack Park Agency review when funds for the fire station have been secured and a site plan and design proposed.

Project Description: The action involves a three lot subdivision involving wetlands which will result in the creation of two new residential lots 5.04 ± acres and 5.30 ± acres in size. The remaining lands containing existing development will be retained by the applicant, consisting of approximately 67.3 acres (not surveyed) including all adjoining parcels currently owned by the applicant. Future construction of one single family dwelling on each of the 5 ± acre residential lots, to be served by an individual well and on-site wastewater treatment system, and accessed by a private road maintained by an established homeowners association, is proposed. No wetlands will be filled or impacted by the project.
