Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The Town of Huntington Zoning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Chalet Lodge will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the request for variances to erect a 14,500 square foot, 2 story restaurant on 9.2 acre site with an existing 1 and 2 story motel. The request was amended at the Zoning Board of Appeals public hearing held on March 22, 2012 to erect a 9,785 square foot one story restaurant and Parking Variance
for 72 parking stalls, with basement under 7 feet in height to be used for storage. The project is located on the northwest corner of Route 25A and Centershore Road in Centerport, Town of Huntington, New York.

Suffolk County - The Village of Port Jefferson Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 4 Berkshire Court - Tree Clearing and Grading Application will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the replacement of deteriorating, timber retaining walls with modular block; with a height up to 12.5 feet; removal of up to 909 square feet of natural vegetation; replanting of disturbed areas; erosion control measures and tree protection during construction. Subject parcel is improved with a single family dwelling. The retaining walls enclose an in-ground swimming pool. The project is located at 4 Berkshire Court in the Village of Port Jefferson, New York.

Suffolk County - The Town of Brookhaven Board of Zoning Appeals, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Bradley T. Swain Land Division will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the two lot land division of a 79,512 square foot parcel within the Town's A-1 residence district. The parcel is improved with a dwelling known as the Samuel R. Davis house, which is to remain. One new residence is proposed. The project is located on Lower Rocky Point Road in Miller Place, Town of Brookhaven, New York.
