Negative Declaration
Otsego County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Oxbow Road Gravel Mine will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the operation of a 10.8 acre, life-of-mine, unconsolidated, surface sand and gravel mine, of which 10.8 acres is authorized to be disturbed during the initial permit term (5 years). The mining operation will include onsite screening of material. The project is located at Oxbow Road just west of State Route 28, Town of Milford, New York.
