The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) is pursuing a Department Initiated Modification (DIM) to the State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) Permit (NY 002 3558, DEC Identification #:7-0534-00003/00001), of the Aurora Water Pollution Control Plant Facility pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 750-1.18, New York State's Environmental Benefit Permit Strategy (EBPS). The proposed change to the permit is as follows: Total Residual Chlorine has changed from 0.1 mg/l to 0.05 mg/l

Applicant proposes to install new water lines along within District No. 12 to serve 244 properties along portions of N. Court St/Court St North; Main Street N.; Lewis Point, Roberts Street; Stephens Rd; Whitelaw Rd, adn NYS Rt 13. Water lines shall be installed by trenching within the protected adjacent area of three class 2 state protected wetlands: JE-7, JE-8, and SB-1.
