Negative Declaration
Oswego County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Granby Mine will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a modification to add 22.5 acres of affected/excavation area where mining will be above and below the water table as well as expanding the area where below water table mining will take place in currently permitted areas to form a large lake. The project is located on County Route 85 near Ridge Road in the Town of Granby, New York.
