Positive Declaration
Schuyler and Steuben Counties - The Steuben County Industrial Development Agency, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Paragon Windpower Project may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the construction of an 80 MW Wind Power Generation Project including 40 wind turbines, associated roads, 34.5 KV power Collection system, and interconnect with an existing 230 KV transmission line. The project is located in the Town of Hornby, Steuben County and the Town of Orange, Schuyler County, New York.
