Project is Located:

Project Description:
Rehabilitation of County Road consisting of safety improvements including drainage swale relocations, road widening, road repaving, and replacing and extending road culverts. The project will permanently impact 0.027 acre of State Freshwater Wetland KC-13 and 0.079 acre of the State Freshwater Wetland's regulated 100-foot wide Adjacent Area. The project will also impact federally regulated wetlands and streams. As wetland mitigation, 1.5 acres of wetland will be constructed. The project site is located along approximately 1 mile of South Ninemile Road and 1.7 miles of Chipmonk Road (Co. Rd. 30).

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination:
Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed.
SEQR Lead Agency: None Designated
State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
Based on the information provided in cultural resources survey reports for this project, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) has determined that the proposed activity will have an impact on registered or eligible archaeological sites or historic structures. Measures have been undertaken in consultation with OPRHP to avoid or mitigate impacts to registered or eligible resources. These agreed upon measures conclude the SHPA review.
Coastal Management:
This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
Opportunity for Public Comment:
Comments on this project must be submitted in writing to the Contact Person no later than Aug 16, 2012.
