Project Description:
The applicant proposes to install a dry hydrant for fire suppression in a pond within state-regulated wetland LC-9, Class 2. The proposed work in the wetland and 100-foot adjacent area includes installation of an approximately 1600-foot dry hydrant supply line, excavation of an approximately 2400 square foot area, 8-feet deep, around the supply line, repair to the concrete outflow weir, and temporary disturbances associated with access and dewatering of the pond. The total area of temporary disturbance is approximately 0.22 acre; the permanent disturbance is approximately 0.08 acre.
