The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has added a link to a translation service developed by Microsoft Inc., entitled Bing Translator, as a convenience to visitors to the DEC website who speak languages other than English.

Negative Declaration

Jefferson County - The Town Board of the Town of Clayton, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Clayton NYS Route 12 Sewer District Formation will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the formation of a Town Sewer District pursuant to Article 12A of the NYS Town Law to encompass an area along the New York State Route 12 corridor within the Town of Clayton and the construction of a centralized wastewater collection and treatment system to service the same. The project is located on NYS Route 12 from the Town of Clayton eastern boundary to just short of the Town of Clayton western boundary in the Town of Clayton, New York.

Oneida County - The Village of Sylvan Beach, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Wastewater Treatment/Transportation Facilities Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the upgrade to treatment and transportation facilities for the East Oneida Lake Water Pollution Abatement Project (EOLWPAP) including: Building Improvements (Roofs, Doors, Walls, Ventilation/Heating/Air Conditioning); Head-works Upgrade (Screenings and Grit Removal); Sludge Handling (Pump, Belt Press, Conveyors); Mechanicals (Valves, Pumps, Blowers); Plumbing (Non-Potable Water, Sump Pumps, Lavatories); Instrumentation/Controls (Wastewater Treatment Plant/All Pump Stations); Electrical ( l/C Electrical, Grit/Screenings, Valves/Pumps, Sludge Handling, Wastewater Treatment Plant Pumps/Pump Station Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), Generators (Selected Pump Stations); and Chemical Feed Systems. This project doesn't include any construction of new buildings or excavations for new utilities. This project is an upgrade to existing facilities that were constructed in the late 1970's. The project is located at 3100 Vienna Road in the Village of Sylvan Beach, New York.
