The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) has received a Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) application and Remedial Investigation Work Plan from the City of Ogdensburg for a site known as the Former Standard Shade Roller Site, site ID #C645049. This site is located at 541 Covington Street in the City of Ogdensburg, St. Lawrence County. The document repository for this site is the Ogdensburg Public Library located at 312 Washington Street, Ogdensburg. Comments regarding this application and work plan must be submitted no later than July 20, 2012. Project Description: The action involves installation of two new utility poles greater than 40 feet in height (43 feet above ground) and a new distribution line across NY State Route 28 to service a residential subdivision authorized by a prior Agency Permit. Also, a push pole will be added to an existing utility pole on Scusa Road, involving wetlands.
