Public Notice

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) has determined that site ID 429003, known as the Former White Mop Wringer site, may be deleted from the New York State Registry of Inactive Hazardous Waste Disposal Sites. This site is located in the Town of Fultonville, within the County of Montgomery, and is located at 182 Riverside Drive. Comments regarding this action must be submitted no later than July 6, 2012. Negative Declaration

Rensselaer County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed RM Bacon - Brownell Lease Mine will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the creation of a new mine, to mine sand and gravel from a 7 acre life of mine, within a 22 acre parcel, including the use of a portable screener. The project is located on Eagle Bridge Road in the Town of Hoosick, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Rensselaer County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed SA Dunn & Company, LLC, Construction and Demolition Debris Site. A copy of the Final EIS is available at the NYS DEC - Region 4 Office; the Rensselaer City Hall, 62 Washington Street, Rensselaer; the Rensselaer Public Library, 676 East Street, Rensselaer; the North Greenbush Town Hall, 2 Douglas Street, Wynantskill, and the North Greenbush Public Library, 141 Main Avenue, Wynantskill. The full Final EIS is also available for review online at: https://ctmale.onehub.com/feis.

The action involves the conversion of an existing 57.9 acre sand and gravel mine into a 68.54 acre construction and demolition debris disposal site, to be operated in 13 phases, including minerals processing within the continued mining area. The project is located on Partition Street in the City of Rensselaer, New York.
