Negative Declaration
Broome, Chemung, Chenango, Delaware, Schuyler, Steuben, Tioga and Tompkins Counties - The Tioga County Soil and Water Conservation District as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Southern Tier Wetlands Construction and Floodplain Enhancement will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of wetland complexes on New York State lands in partnership with New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) Foresters. Also included will be the removal of gravel berms in the Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) Southern Tier Counties to reconnect streams with their floodplains where appropriate. The project is located in the Southern Tier of New York State in Broome, Chemung, Chenango, Delaware, Schuyler, Steuben, Tioga and Tompkins Counties
