Negative Declaration

Chautauqua County - The New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation (NYS EFC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Chautauqua Institution - Drainage Improvement Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a series of drainage improvement projects contributing to the long range plan for improving the management of storm water on and through the grounds of the institution. The project will consist of numerous water quality treatment improvements to remove storm water borne pollutants from surface runoff waters prior to their discharge into Chautauqua Lake. These treatment measures will be bioretention based improvements such as rain gardens, bioswales, bioretention beds, and other surface based water treatment methods appropriate to the treatment of stormwater runoff. The project is located at 1 Ames Avenue in the Town of Chautauqua, New York.

Erie County - The Erie County Department of Environment and Planning , as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Aurora Street Pump Station Elimination Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal by the Erie County Department of Environment and Planning, Division of Sewerage Management to eliminate the Aurora North Pump Station and construct approximately 12,543 feet (2.38 miles) of new gravity sanitary sewer. The new sanitary sewer will be located between the existing Aurora North Pump Station located on Aurora Street in Lancaster, NY and Borden Road (at Losson Road) in Cheektowaga, New York.

Erie County - The Erie County Department of Environment and Planning , as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Geneva Road Sanitary Sewer Extension will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves installation of a approximately 1,825 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipe, 380 linear feet of 4 inch sanitary force main and one sewage pumping station. The project will be located on Geneva Road in the Town of Aurora, New York.
