The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has added a link to a translation service developed by Microsoft Inc., entitled Bing Translator, as a convenience to visitors to the DEC website who speak languages other than English.

Negative Declaration

Monroe County - The Marcia Barry, Director of Planning and Zoning, City of Rochester, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Brooks Landing Phase 2 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a combination of public (City of Rochester) and private (Christenson Corporation) improvements. The public project consists of the development of an overall master plan of improvements for a section of Genesee Valley Park and a public plaza area and the subsequent design and construction of select master plan components. The private improvements consist of a riverfront restaurant (including a basement boat house), student housing, a credit union and parking. The project is located at 1315, 1470, 1500 South Plymouth Avenue, 910, 1000, 1006 Genesee Street, 140, 150 Elmwood Avenue in the City of Rochester, New York.

Steuben County - The Village of Painted Post, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Lease Agreement for Transloading Facility will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal to lease a portion of a parcel of real property known as the former Ingersoll- Rand Foundry encompassing approximately 11.8 acres of a 50 acre parcel to the Wellsboro & Corning Railroad, LLC a federally regulated railroad to be used for the development, construction and operation of a transloading facility. The facility will be used to load surplus potable water from the Village's water distribution system taken from water wells located away from the Site onto railroad tanker cars distribution. The railroad will develop, construct, operate and maintain the facility on the site. The project is located at 450 Water Street in the Village of Painted Post, New York.
