Project Description:

Construct a 120 foot wall, 3 to 8 feet high along the applicant's property on Otisco Lake. Install a 5 foot x 16 foot seasonal ramp on stone and a permanent 16 foot by 21 foot dock on driven steel pilings for recreational activities and access to boats.

State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:

Cultural resource lists and map have been checked. No registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified at the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.

Coastal Management:

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

Opportunity for Public Comment:

Project Description:

Applicant proposes to rehabilitate Rice Creek Field Station. Work entails removing and replacing infrastructure from within the protected class 1 wetland OW-7 regulated adjacent area. Finished facility will include portions of the observatory, a new pavilion, sidewalks, driveway access and a stormwater outfall within the wetland adjacent area. Federal wetland impacts total 0.071 acre.
