No runway lighting or structures are proposed. A 7 foot tall pole with an orange nylon windsock would be installed adjacent to the runway. Use of the airstrip would be limited to daylight hours during the twelve months of the year. A maximum of 150 take-offs and landings annually are proposed. Negative Declaration
Washington County - The Easton Town Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Daus-Lamb Minor Subdivision will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the re-subdivision of an existing lot within a farm tract for the purpose of creating one additional single family residential lot, with the farm tract located southeast of the hamlet of Easton. The section of the farm proposed for resubdivision lies within a Rural Reserve area of the Town Land Use Plan Map, and does not conform to some development guidelines and recommendations of the Town Comprehensive Plan. However, a minimum agricultural land will be lost. Current agricultural access will not be changed. Views of the Hudson River Valley from Meeting House Road will be minimally impacted as the height of the buildings will be southeast of the viewshed. The project is located nearby the Society of Friends South Meeting House, a structure of local historic importance, but will blend with the structures of the adjacent hamlet. The project is located on Meeting House Road in the Town of Easton, New York.
