Kings County (Brooklyn) - The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYC DEP), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 26th Ward Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Installation of Caustic System will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the relocation of the existing caustic system (26W-18) from the Ammonia Building to the Biological Nitrogen Removal (BNR) Building at the 26th Ward WWTP. The system would include a 10,000 gallon caustic tank and three chemical metering pumps within a concrete containment area. In addition, a portion of the existing equipment, chemical tanks and associated piping currently located in the BNR Building would be removed. All activities associated with the proposed project would take place within the existing Plant boundaries and construction activities are anticipated to last approximately 20 months. The project is located at 22-68 Flatlands Avenue in Brooklyn, New York.

New York County (Manhattan) - The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed City University of New York Baruch College Field Building Renovation Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves DASNY's authorization of the expenditure of tax-exempt bond proceeds to finance or refinance the renovation of the 16 story (plus 3 mechanical floors), approximately 276,567 gross square foot Lawrence and Eris Field Building located on the College's South Campus. The renovation will include new and upgraded elevators, new toilet rooms, new and upgraded egress/stairs/systems, mechanical shafts, and service closets; structural additions, infill and interior modifications; ADA access facility-wide; new mechanical electrical and plumbing and fire protection systems; telecommunications; remedial exterior wall work; and roof replacement. The project is located at 17 Lexington Avenue in Manhattan, New York.
