Montgomery Otsego Schoharie Solid Waste Management Authority

Notice of Issuance of a Draft Request for Proposals Pursuant to Section 120-w

Pursuant to Section 120-w of the New York State General Municipal Law, notice is hereby given that Montgomery Otsego Schoharie Solid Waste Management Authority (MOSA) is making available on or about January 11, 2012 for public review and comment a Draft Request for Proposals No. P11-04 Relating to Privatization of Transfer Station Operations and/or Lease of Assets for a proposed term of 5 years with two optional 5 year extensions. MOSA may issue a final RFP after receipt of comments. A copy of the Draft RFP will be on file with the Executive Director of MOSA. A copy of the Draft RFP is posted on MOSA's website at www.mosainfo.org. Copies of the Draft RFP may be obtained during regular business hours at MOSA, NYS Route 7, Howes Cave, New York 12092. Comments on the Draft RFP should be made in writing to the Executive Director of MOSA, at P.O. Box 160, NYS Route 7, Howes Cave, NY 12092, or via email to: mail@mosainfo.org. Negative Declaration

Columbia County - The Village of Kinderhook, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Village of Kinderhook Wastewater Collection System will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a wastewater collection system serving the Village of Kinderhook, including design and bond financing. The System will service the Village Square Business Area's 35 parcels, including the modification of existing sewer services, construction of gravity wastewater collection system, construction of a pump station and forcemain to connect to the Village of Valatie collection system. A portion of the project scope, installation of a forcemain under sidewalk, has been included in the contiguous project titled "Route 9 Sidewalks, Kinderhook - Valatie" by Hudson Valley Engineering Associates, which has previously received a negative declaration. The project is located in the Business District of the Village of Kinderhook, New York.

Otsego County - The Town Board of the Town of New Lisbon, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of a Local Law entitled: "Protection of Rural Development" will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption by the Town Board of a local law entitled "Protection of Rural Development". The project is located throughout the Town of New Lisbon, New York.
