Chenango County - The Chenango County Industrial Development, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Agro Farma Facility Expansion will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the expansion of existing manufacturing and administrative facilities, improvements to equipment, upgrades to existing facilities and construction of the following structures and appurtenances including: (i) an 85,000 ± square foot 3 story palletizer structure; (ii) a 4 story 17,400 ± square foot employee wellness center; (iii) a 3 story 13,000 ± square foot dairy processing structure to be constructed as an expansion of the existing manufacturing building, as well as (iv) construction of improvements to filling equipment located in the existing manufacturing building; (v) the addition of mobile diesel fueled electrical generators, as well as the (vi) construction of a 12,000 ± square foot filler building; (vii) the addition of 2 new adjoining milk receiving bays totaling 7,400 ± square feet; (viii) a 2,400 ± square foot structure to house new boilers and a new 4,000 ± square foot building for the handling of waste-activated sludge from the existing waste water treatment processing facility, as well as (ix) construction of paved parking for approximately 300 vehicles and the development of internal driveways; (x) construction of storm handling facilities, as well as the purchase of furniture, equipment, machinery and the purchase and implementation of other tangible personal property. The project is located at 669 County Road 25 in the Town of Columbus, New York.
