Negative Declaration

Dutchess County - The Town of Pleasant Valley Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Pleasant Valley Parks and Recreation Master Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of a Recreation Master Plan which is intended to document the Town's inventory of existing recreation facilities and programs; (2) assess the need for additional facilities and programs, to better meet the needs of Town residents; and provide a framework to assist the Town in realizing its recreational goals. The project is located throughout the Town of Pleasant Valley, New York.

Orange County - The Village of Kiryas Joel Board of Trustees, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Well # 28 Improvements will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of Water Filtration and Disinfection Improvements for the Village's existing Well #28, together with a new access drive. The project is located at the Village Well field off Larkin Drive in the Town of Monroe, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final GEIS

Putnam County - The Town of Kent Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Town of Kent Wireless Infrastructure Plan. The Final GEIS is available for review at the Kent Town Center, Town Clerk's Office, 25 Sybil's Crossing, Kent Lakes, NY 10512; the Kent Library, Kent Town Center and on line at: www.townofkentny.gov.

The action involves the adoption of a Wireless Infrastructure Plan for the Town of Kent. The proposed Wireless Plan identifies the existing wireless coverage (and gaps in coverage) in the Town and, based on an analysis of future wireless coverage needs amongst the various wireless service providers, makes recommendations for locations of future wireless facilities. The project is located throughout the Town of Kent, New York.

Westchester County - The Yonkers City Council, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed City of Yonkers Downtown Rezoning. The Final GEIS is available for review at the City of Yonkers Planning Bureau Office, 87 Nepperhan Avenue, Suite 320, Yonkers, NY 10701 and on line at: http://www.yonkersny.gov/Index.aspx?page=2420.

The action involves the amendment to the Yonkers zoning ordinance by the creation of a new zoning district for the traditional Yonkers downtown and the amendment of the zoning map to locate the zone district. The project is located throughout the City of Yonkers, New York.
