Allegany County - The Village of Bolivar, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Villages of Richburg and Bolivar Joint Water Supply Improvements Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a new water filtration/treatment plant at the Richburg spring and other spring improvements, development of a new well, renovation of two existing wells and construction of a water treatment facility at the Bolivar well site, renovation of distribution facilities for both Villages, and tank improvements in both villages. The project is located at 252 Main Street in the Village of Bolivar, New York.

Cattaraugus County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Gernatt Gowanda Deposit/Vogtli Plant Expansion will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the mining of gravel and sand and material processing on an additional 26.5 acres of land. This expansion will be on 19.2 acres of a 40. 4 acre parcel the applicant purchased adjacent to the existing permitted mine. The remaining 7.2 acres of this expansion will occur around the currently permitted 9.0 acre site. The entire disturbed area will be reclaimed to agricultural production. The mine is located between Broadway Road and Route 62, immediately south of the Village of Gowanda boundary line in the Town of Persia, New York.
