The property is adjoining the easterly boundary of the Village of Cazenovia. Tompkins County - The Town of Danby Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Local Law No 4 of 2011 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the proposed adoption of Local Law No.4 of 2011, Local Road Use and Preservation Law. The proposed law is designed to protect the various Town Highways by requiring those that engage in certain industrial, commercial and construction operations that have heavy traffic, known and defined above the baseline "Concentrated Traffic" to notify the Town of haul routes and the size, weight and types of vehicles and the number of vehicle trips to and from a site or along a Town Highway. The Town will then conduct a haul route analysis and determine whether the proposed route is safe and acceptable, and whether the proposed Town Highway usage, based upon engineering analyses of Town Highways, is to be allowed, including whether the roadway geometry, strength and other features require any upgrades and/or post-completion repairs or restoration, and including provisions for the posting of a bond or other undertaking to guarantee the proper repair, restoration or remediation of the Town Highway. The project is located throughout the Town of Danby, New York.

Contact: Susan Beeners, Town of Danby, 1830 Danby Road, Ithaca, NY 14850, Phone: (607) 277-0799, E-mail: sbeeners@aol.com.
