The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) has received a Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) application from the Town of Oyster Bay for a site known as the Bethpage Community Park, site ID #C130003D. This site is located in the Town of Oyster Bay, within the County of Nassau, and is located at Stewart Avenue, Bethpage, NY 11714. Comments regarding this application must be submitted no later than December 9, 2011. Negative Declaration
Suffolk County - Suffolk County, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Acquisition of Land by both Suffolk County and the Town of Southampton for Open Spaces Preservation Purposes Known as the Links at East Quogue, LLC, Property will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the acquisition for open space preservation purposes of 165.67 ± acres for passive recreation. The project is located South of Sunrise Highway (State Road 27),east of Lewis Road and north of Old Country Road in the Town of Southampton, New York.
