Project Description:

Proposed excavation of approximately 2,000 cubic yards of sediment from existing 1.6 acre farm pond, Water Index Number D-10-28-1, a tributary of the East Mongaup River, Class B(T); and rehabilitation of an existing 125-foot earth dam, including replacing the original CMP outlet barrel and small concrete spillway with a new steel pipe barrel and riser. All dredged material to be stockpiled and dried on site with appropriate erosion and sediment controls, including silt fencing and hay bales for the dredged material, and a temporary sediment trap/basin in the downstream channel.
