Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The Village of Southampton Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Fagan Minor Subdivision will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the subdivision of the single 1.22 acre parcel into two, single family parcels which conform to zoning requirements of the R-12.5 district as well as the Suffolk County Sanitary Code (SCSC) requirements which require a minimum of 20,000 square feet per residence (in Groundwater Management Zone IV). The existing single family residence will remain. Lot 1 is proposed to be 29,067 square feet and Lot 2 is proposed to be 24,133 square feet. The project is located at 32 South Main Road in the Village of Southampton, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Suffolk County - The Town Board of the Town of Brookhaven, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Mt. Sinai Industrial, LLC (aka Mt. Sinai Village Centre). The Final EIS is available from the Office of the Brookhaven Town Clerk, the Town of Brookhaven Division of Environmental Protection, Port Jefferson Free Library, and the Comsewogue Public Library. The Final EIS is also available on line at: www.brookhaven.org.

The action involves a change of zone from L-1 Industrial, J-2 Business & A-1 Residential to J-2 Business (30.32 acres) to develop the site as a commercial center with various uses including retail, office, a bank and a restaurant, with a proposed total gross floor area of approximately 233,601 square feet. The project is located on the southwest corner of NYS Route 25A and County Route 111 (not constructed) in the hamlet of Mt. Sinai, Town of Brookhaven, New York.

The action involves a change of zone for a 205.64 acre parcel from A Residential 1 to Planned Development District in order to construct 150 two bedroom age-restricted Planned Retirement Community (PRC) residences and 75 detached single-family homes (three-bedrooms) on clustered lots. The project is located on the eastside of William Floyd Parkway (County Route 46) approximately 280 feet south of Appel Drive in the hamlet of Shirley, Town of Brookhaven, New York.
