Oswego County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Lindsey Aggregates Gravel Pit will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal to expand an existing 30.7 acre mine by 46.7 acres for a proposed Life-of-Mine of 77.4 acres. The property that the applicant proposes to expand on has been excavated for sand and gravel in the past. The applicant proposes to mine above and below the water table and reclaim it with vegetation and pond, respectively. The project is located approximately 10 miles southwest of Oswego, New York near the intersection of Bateman and Red Schoolhouse Road. The town line of Volney and Palermo, New York intersects the property.

Tioga County - The Owego Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local Law #3 of 2011 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a change in the zoning from Residential B "RB" to Agricultural "AG" and amend the zoning map for a parcel of land owned by James Ketchuck. The project is located at 248 Cafferty Lane in the Town of Owego, New York.
